Krewe of Iduna

Krewe of Iduna [pronounce: ee-DON-uh] is an all-ladies carinival krewe located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, founded in 1961. We have fabulous dance groups that perform in our Mardi Gras Ball each year and participate in the parades walking group - the Prim Idunas!

We host many events throughout the year, but the main event is our annual Mardi Gras Ball which focuses on a tableau that presents the Royal Court for that year. We'd love you to consider joining us for some fun!

The Ball Captain chooses her theme, and the decorations, costumes, and dance numbers bring her vision to life. Presented are the annual Ball Captain, King, Queen, Pages to the King and Queen, and Maids and Dukes.
